DR. GINA GALLIVAN
POLICE PSYCHOLOGIST
OVERVIEW
Dr. Gallivan is the CEO and founder of Gina Gallivan and Associates. Her practice is recognized as a leader in the treatment of first responders who have experienced traumatic incidents and challenges throughout their careers.
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Gallivan is a Licensed Police Psychologist in the State of California. She has been licensed since 2002, and Board Certified in Police & Public Safety Psychology since 2011. She began her law enforcement training at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, where she completed a pre-doctoral internship and a post-doctoral fellowship in law enforcement psychology.
Dr. Gallivan is currently an Executive Board Member of the Police Psychological Services Section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Dr. Gallivan has conducted countless pre-employment psychological screenings and fitness for duty evaluations, and she provides consultation, management of peer support teams, and psychological debriefings to over 60 police and public safety agencies in Southern California.
Dr. Gallivan has been the Primary Trauma Responder to the following critical incidents:

- Santa Monica Active Shooter/Mass Shooting
- U.C.L.A. Active Shooter
- Christopher Dorner Active Shooter and Manhunt
- Route 91 Las Vegas Concert Mass Shooting
- Thousand Oaks Borderline Bar and Grill Mass Shooting
